As an historian specialized for Jewish history and Judaism I will particularly focus on the manifold contributions of Jewish artists, scientists, philosophers to Dresden's prosperity. We will see the old cemetery (1750 - 1869), the new synagogue (from 2001) and we will learn about dark holocaust places and modern Jewish life in Dresden.
